Marne and clay soil. Meunier. Disgorged November 2017. Really quite rich on the nose. Big and saline. Very friendly wine. Smoked ham accompaniment strongly advised, apparently. Not very, very long but very friendly and easy. (JR)

This has a mellow feel with lightly spiced pastry, dried flowers and light, chalky nuances. The palate has a gentle, round texture with fresh, salty minerals and hints of mangoes and exotic fruit at the finish. Very open with a strong mineral thread. From an old vineyard of meunier, planted in 1969. Drink now.
