Score 93/100 · Drink 2020-2037, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Mar 2020

The 2017 Ried Pfaffenberg Alte Reben Riesling is bright, complex, shining, flinty and highly elegant on the nose. On the palate, this is a sweet and salty-piquant, lush and tensioned, finely tannic and persistent Riesling with great intensity and a ripe and lush, slightly sweet finish. This is a great Riesling, and it already drinks perfectly well. Tasted at the domain in September 2019.
