Good deep red. Ripe aromas of black cherry, musky coffee and dark chocolate; slightly reduced. Silky, supple and fine-grained, with rich chocolate and coffee flavors complicated by pepper and leather. Plenty of personality here. Finishes with very good length.

Cask Sample Bright crimson. Ripe cherry aromas. Very rich and sweet and really rather gorgeous. Lots of acidity and tannins. Very fresh and uncompromising. Long. (JR)
