Tasting notes
This wine's (100% Syrah) malolactic fermentation took place in new oak casks. Made from yields of 12 hectoliters per hectare, it is a sexy, exotic, black purple-colored wine offering up gobs of jammy black fruits with a touch of prunes and black berries in the background. Some subtle pain grille is also noticeable. The wine is fleshy and fat, with copious amounts of glycerin and extract in its plump, chewy personality. Drink it over the next 2-4 years

Saturated ruby-red. Explosive, superripe aromas of blackberry, raspberry, mocha, smoked meat and toasty, spicy oak. Thick and dense, with superripe flavors of black raspberry, beefsteak tomato and exotic spices. Very long, oaky finish features ripe but suave tannins.
