Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2023-2036, Neal Martin, Dec 2020

The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Cherbaudes 1er Cru was showing a little reduction on the nose, but the fruit seems ample; there is crushed strawberry, cranberry and a touch of tea leaf. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, very cohesive and much fresher and delineated compared to the preceding Etelois. Very good length here. This should age with style.
