Score 86/100 · Drink 2017-2022, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Mar 2017

The 2014 Bournac has a very classic, cedar and undergrowth-scented bouquet that infuses the broody black fruit, opening nicely with continued aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannin, crisp black fruit laced with cedar, leading to a rather abrupt finish that at least offers decent freshness. This showed a little better than last year, although there are better Médocs out there.
