Tasting notes
The 1967 Rivesaltes has a refined bouquet with marmalade, espresso, toffee and quince that is well-defined and very focused. There is real energy encapsulated within these aromatics. The palate is medium-bodied with a viscous entry that is counterbalanced by its racy acidity and a real fieriness in its heart. This has a real edginess to it – a great Rivesaltes. Drink now-2030+

Relatively pale brownish rose red. Not the freshest nose. A little simple though with lots of flattering rosy sweetness before the sudden dry finish. Not the finest, nor most complex but very beefy. Impressive length. (JR)
