Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2022-2035, Neal Martin, Jan 2019

The 2017 Beaune Les Bressandes 1er Cru is quite deep in color. It has a broody, introspective, marine-influenced bouquet with hints of brine and sea cave tincturing the dark berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannin, the notes of mulberry and raspberry preserve laced with truffle and a pinch of white pepper that frame quite a structured finish. Give this two or three years in bottle. A serious Beaune Bressandes.
