Score 94-96/100 · Drink 2027-2050, Neal Martin, Dec 2021

The 2020 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru is raised in 50% new oak with 42% whole bunch. The bouquet shows a little more transparency and mineralité than the Charmes, quite focused at first, becoming more expansive with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins, taut and fresh, superb tension with a sorbet-fresh yet structured finish. This is excellent.
