Welcome to this introduction to the beauty of the riesling’s peachy aromas. A very elegant dry wine, the aromas of which slowly expand as it aerates, adding orange blossoms and mandarin oranges plus a touch of ripe melon. A long, stony finish that has spot-on balance. Drink or hold.

The 2023 Riesling Loibenberg Federspiel opens with a sense of wet stone and mandarin, displaying the warm site with gentle freshness. Tangerine zestiness appears on the mid-palate, making the mouth water and bringing a gentle pithiness supporting freshness. Again, it is a quiet, calm style that is a textbook Federspiel of lightness, ripeness and ease. (Bone-dry)
