A fresh and lively style of Châteauneuf blanc, but still with the requisite size, shape and power. It’s well balanced, with energy and vibrancy; the well-judged oak is present but doesn't occlude the fruit. An impressive wine with presence, detail and a long finish. Grown on sand in Bois Sénéchaux, all fermented and aged in foudre and demi-muid.
50% Clairette Rose, 50% Clairette. Aged for 8 months, 60% in foudres and 40% in demi-muids. Certified organic and biodynamic. Tasted blind. A fine and linear palate with a sense of fresh minerality and lovely texture. Ripe but not heavy and with a saline note on the finish. Really engaging, refreshing and enticing. Superb.
