Tasting notes
Coming from the la Nerthe lieu-dit and based on 62% Grenache Blanc and 38% Roussanne aged nine months in demi-muids, the 2024 Châteauneuf Du Pape Clos De Beauvenir Blanc is similarly vivid gold-hued, with a slightly more reserved yet brilliantly pure style. It reveals ripe stone fruits, honeyed flowers, crushed stone, and toasted bread on the nose. It's just about flawlessly balanced, has medium to full-bodied richness, a seamless, layered, pure texture, and a great finish. This is another world-class white from this brilliant team. There are roughly 200 cases produced, and it should keep for two decades or more if well stored. Drink 2025-2045.

Crafted mainly from sandy soils complemented with galets roulés, the 2024 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Clos de Beauvenir is terrific, offering up aromas of white fruits, spices and ripe orchard fruits. Full-bodied, dense and concentrated, it’s also layered and textured with a fleshy core of fruit and a harmonious mid-palate that segues into a long, spicy finish with a delicately oaky hint. This blend of 62% Grenache Blanc and 38% Roussanne was matured for nine months in large barrels.
Prominent linden blossom, yellow apple, white peach and a splash of herbal tea introduce the complex 2024 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc Clos de Beauvenir. Full-bodied, concentrated and extremely refined, the 2024 is such a classy, elegant Clos de Beauvenir that’s worth being discovered.
