Good lift on the nose. Correct with cracking bitter-cherry fruit. But I think patience is needed and would much prefer to see his 2014s really. (JR)

Laurent said that the vines that produced the 2013 Morey St Denis Chenevrey were millerandé. It has an intense bouquet with red Morello cherries, cranberry and flinty aromas. The palate is medium-bodied, well balanced with lightly peppered red berry fruit. It is missing a little depth toward the finish and feels quite linear, although there is a long peppery tail on the aftertaste. Very fine.
