Tasting notes
The 2006 Bouquet des Garrigues is a dark ruby-colored wine that tastes like the essence of Provence. Spicy, peppery, with notes of lavender, roasted herbs, and plenty of sweet kirsch liqueur notes and some even blacker fruits, charming and up-front. I would drink the 2006 Bouquet des Garrigues over the next 2-3 years. Importers: David Hinkle, North Berkeley Imports, Berkeley, CA; tel. Very spicy nose. Quite a delicate touch. Not desperately ambitious but maybe better like that! Bit of a fast fade. (JR)
