2018 de Venoge Louis XV

The 2018 Champagne Flames is equal parts Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier and pours a bright straw color. Pretty in the glass, with aromas of poached apples, delicate baking spices, graham, and orange pith, it’s medium-bodied, juicy, and rounded on the palate, with a lovely autumnal feel through to tis long, clean finish. It’s approachable now but should age nicely and gain in spice character over the coming 10-15 years. 5,499 bottles produced.
