Score 88-90/100 · Drink 2020-2028, Neal Martin, Jan 2019

The 2017 Aloxe-Corton Le Suchot has a lovely bouquet with hints of blueberry, wild hedgerow and sous-bois that gently unfold in the glass. The medium-bodied palate displays supple tannin, a mixture of red and blue fruit and plenty of rondeur on the sensual finish. Simple but effective.

Aromas of cassis, rose hip and sweet soil tones introduce the 2017 Aloxe-Corton Le Suchot, a medium-bodied, succulent wine with vibrant fruit flavors and a fine-grained but youthfully chewy chassis of structuring tannin. It's an elegant rendition of a rustic appellation.
