Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2026-2037, Neal Martin, Nov 2024
The 2023 Beaune Mignoties 1er Cru, which I incorrectly wrote before as not domaine, but was actually bought in 2016, has a well-defined and focused bouquet with more mineralité and precision than the Beaune Tuvilains this year. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy black fruit laced with white pepper and graphite. I appreciate the freshness and vitality on the finish here. This is a Beaune with promise.
