The 2023 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Aux Cras is the highlight of the Dujac négociant stable this year, offering up notes of oranges and spiced plums followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and fleshy palate that concludes with gentle tannic grip.

The 2023 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Cras 1er Cru has a fair whack of reduction on the nose, but there is amiable red berry fruit underneath. The palate is a little spicy on the entry, nicely balanced with a more savory, tobacco-tinged finish. Drink over the next three or four years.
Cask sample. Quite pale ruby. Richer, ripe Pinot fruit, raspberries, cassis with good balance between fine acidity and light tannins. (MH)
