Score 86/100 · Drink 2025-2028, Neal Martin, Jun 2025

The 2023 Mâcon La Roche Vineuse comes from the younger vines amongst the parcels, predominantly four to six years old. Raised in stainless steel, it has a touch of flint on the nose emanating from the limestone soils. The palate is well balanced with more substance than the Bourgogne Blanc, gentle grip and a touch of spice on the finish. Fine.
