Score 95/100 · Decanter

Lovely forward pomegranate and cherry fruit with hints of mint and violets; the texture is light and fresh, and on the palate, there is a distinct saline minerality: 'You smell the limestone,' in the words of technical director Jérôme Flous. The parcel, which touches Les Petits Musigny, has been part of the domaine for more than a century. Ideally one would give this two or three years in the cellar, but it should open soon.
