Pale crimson. A bit too light and tart for comfort. (JR)

The 2023 Beaune Grèves 1er Cru shows a bit more stem addition on the nose, with almost 50% whole bunch, but it is proportionate to the fruit concentration. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, a crisp line of acidity and slightly darker fruit. There is a touch of reduction here that will resolve over time. This is one for the more patient amongst you.
