The 2021 Chablis Grand Cru Bougros is one of the few wines in the range that's a touch marked by its élevage, offering up oak-inflected aromas of confit lemon, warm bread, orange oil, white flowers and vanilla pod, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered palate that's underpinned by tangy acids.

The 2021 Chablis Bougros Grand Cru, which is completely matured in wood, has a very slight reduction on the nose that actually works to its favour. Good delineation. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, nicely integrated oak with a finish that is not a million miles away from a Raveaneau. Very fine.
