Score 87/100 · Drink 2021-2024, Anthony Mueller, Wine Advocate, May 2021

Immediate aromas of grapefruit and asparagus pop out of the glass of the 2019 Groenekloof Sauvignon Blanc before aromas of lime blossoms with nettles appear. Medium-bodied, the green notes continue their parade across the mid-palate with green bell pepper expressions with hints of citronella before ending in an uncomplicated conclusion. Fans of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc will find this both pleasing and familiar.
