Tasting notes
The 2023 Beaune Les Boucherottes 1er Cru has a pretty bouquet: red cherries, crushed strawberry and light vanilla pod scents. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, quite fresh on the entry but it needs more complexity and finesse on the finish, hence my prudent score.

Mid purple, just slightly reductive, so the wine comes across as a little bit meatier than the Côte de Nuits village wines already tasted. Sound, with some lifted cherry fruit now coming through, with quite a persistent finish, growing in elegance.
