Score 92/100 · Drink 2022-2032, Jeb Dunnuck, Nov 2022

The 2018 Champagne Blanc de Noirs Copin is sourced from three vineyards with vines ranging from 35 to 60 years of age. It was aged in 52% barrique and has 2.8 grams per liter dosage. Pouring a medium straw hue, the nose is ripe but has finesse and freshness. It lifts with smoke and fresh redcurrant fruit, savory hay, and graham cracker biscuit. The palate has wonderful depth and focus, with marasca cherry liqueur, and a silky texture. It is a gastronomic wine with a long and ripe finish. Drink over the next 10 years.
