Garrigue, savory red fruits, and spice come alive with little effort. Here, you find a medium-bodied, elegant, soft, fruit-filled, expression of Grenache. There is a lushness to the fruits that feels just great on your palate. This is already so easy to drink, I snuck in a taste or two, writing this note. Classic red and black fruits, peppery herbs, spice, and dried flower notes emerge from the 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape, a ripe, sexy, rounded, traditional Châteauneuf du Pape that has medium to full-bodied richness, sweet tannins, and a great finish. It's going to drink brilliantly for 10-12 years.

Brilliant violet. Spice-accented red and dark berries, candied licorice and lavender on the fragrant nose. Plush and appealingly sweet, offering juicy red and blue fruit flavors that tighten up and become livelier with air. Shows fine definition and spicy lift on a long, smooth finish framed by subtle, well-absorbed tannins.
