The 2019 Pinot Grigio is floral yet poised at first, with dusty dried flowers giving way to citrusy orchard fruits and hints of incense. It’s much more energetic on the palate, as round yet juicy textures usher in waves of ripe apple, pear and sweet spice nuances. Nearly a minute goes by, and you can still sense lingering tropical tones and hints of vanilla bean. This is such a likeable and dangerously easy-to-drink vintage of Livio Felluga’s Pinot Grigio.
