Ripe, perfumed and appealing. Lots of ripe fruit and real charm. This is presumably why Flint follow this domaine! Bravo! (JR)

The 2015 Pommard 1er Cru Les Rugiens Bas has a very expressive, fruit-driven bouquet with red cherries, pain d'épices and blood orange, very well defined and nicely focused. The palate is very well balanced with crisp tannin, nicely focused with a tang of marmalade and orange rind towards the vibrant finish. There is a lot of energy contained in this nascent Pommard and I suspect that it will age with style.
