(from a chalky, stony site that Magnien says is similar to the adjacent Clos Sorbé): Bright medium red. Discreet aromas of redcurrant, spices and licorice are a bit less floral and perfumed than those of the Borniques. Saline, dry and precise on the palate, in a serious mineral style, showing subtly musky soil tones. Here, too, the tannins are nicely ripe and the finish is long.
