Tasting notes
As usual, the 2022 Ventoux Terrasses is a 60-40 blend of Grenache and Syrah. The wood aging has been pared back to less than 5% of the volume, with the majority of the wine aged in stainless steel and concrete tanks. This vintage shows fabulous cherry fruit, with some blueberries and garrigue mixed in. It's full-bodied, plush, velvety and balanced, not overpowering or overly tannic, just delicious.

The classic 2022 Ventoux Terrasses checks in as a normal blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah that was raised all in concrete tank and inox. Its deep ruby hue is followed by a ripe, spicy, peppery, medium-bodied red that has tons of Provençal charm, ripe tannins, nicely integrated acidity, and outstanding length. It picks up a kiss of spring flowers and violets with time in the glass and is another seriously good wine from this team that way over-delivers.
