Score 89/100 · Drink 2025-2029, Jeb Dunnuck, Oct 2025

Generous and straightforward, the 2022 Pic Saint Loup Grande Cuvée is a blend of Syrah (65%) and Mourvèdre (35%), with a touch of Grenache Noir. Aged for 18 months, including 12 months in barrels of different sizes and ages, the wood remains discreet, allowing the fruity and floral notes (crushed strawberry, goji berries, blueberry, violet) to take center stage. Supple and melt-in-the-mouth, with a dense and finely textured body, it is perfectly ready to drink. Drink 2025-2029.
