2019 Faithful Hound

Composed of 29% Cabernet Franc, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 12% Malbec and 12% Petit Verdot, the 2019 Faithful Hound offers a ripe, succulent and healthy frame of red fruits that burst out of the glass. Medium-bodied, the palate provides complexity and elegance with a balanced structure, offering subtle notes of pencil shavings, oak spice and herbs that lift the mid-palate. The wine continues to uncoil in the mouth as it glides to a graceful and lingering finish. It will continue drinking well for years to come. The wine rested 18 months in French oak barriques, 30% new. 108,000 bottles were produced. Give it a try.
