Score 89-91/100 · Drink 2020-2030, Neal Martin, Jan 2019

The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis En La Rue de Vergy comes from Felettig’s négociant arm, although he conducts the harvest and vinification. There is some reduction on the nose that blurs the edges at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin and well-judged acidity, quite fresh and sorbet-like in style, with veins of orange zest toward the finish. Good potential here.
