Score 90/100 · Drink 2025-2035, Anthony Mueller, Wine Advocate, May 2024

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon, with an alcohol content of 14.6%, exhibits robust notes of forest underbrush and gripping acidity paired with a firm tannic edge. Full-bodied, the palate has a fine, mineral mouthfeel, making it very food friendly. This wine will improve when paired with food and after it has had time to settle down and find its stride. It aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, 35% of which were new. A total of 53,717 bottles were produced. Give it time to develop further.

Score 89/100 · Drink 2024-2032, Neal Martin, Nov 2023

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is aged 18 months in 35% new French oak. The bouquet exhibits that minty trait like other cuvées, but here, the black fruit subsumes it and imparts complexity, the oak much better integrated than the Sutherland Cabernet. The medium-bodied palate has pliant tannins and lightly spiced black fruit with a fresh, slightly saline finish. Drink this over the next 5-8 years.
