From a site that's located in an old quarry and which ripens precociously, Rapet picked his 2017 Beaune 1er Cru Champs Pimont in a timely manner, producing a fleshy but crisp, medium-bodied wine that reveals an attractive bouquet of green apple, iodine and wet stones, and which concludes with a mouthwateringly saline finish.
