Certified organic. Cask sample. Light crimson. Peppery sweet cherry. Lightly stemmy/herbal. More stemmy on the palate and sinewy, not as generous as many in this vintage but pure and mouth-watering with fine dry tannins. (JH)

Wafting from the glass with aromas of plums, orange zest, peonies and baking spices, the 2022 Beaune 1er Cru Coucherais is medium to full-bodied, supple and enveloping, with a layered core of vibrant fruit and a bright, precise finish. This is always a lovely cuvée from the Labet family.
