Tasting notes
Pinot Meunier. Tasted blind. Deep coppery straw colour. Very edgy nose with some reductive character and lots of smokiness. A love or loathe wine? Lots of development here and masses of fruit still but it’s a little sour on the end. Perhaps the right food would distract from this because the wine otherwise has lots going for it. Bravo for lasting this long. (JR)

Disgorged 2015. Bready richness and a note of dried grasses and hay. Sour and fresh and bready on the palate, a really flavourful style that has more character than finesse though the mousse is fine and persistent. Those dried grasses on the palate and finish too. Very crisp but not tart thanks to all that depth of flavour. (JH)
