Score 89/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2004

(in a Bordeaux bottle) Deep red-ruby. Wild raspberry, strawberry, game and eucalyptus on the nose. Sweet, dense and concentrated, with very ripe flavors shaped by fresh acids. The wild berry flavors are complicated by notes of mint and cocoa powder. Not at all heavy, despite hinting at resiny oak on the finish.
