Tasted blind. Creamy and with some development. Quite loose and frothy. A bit bruised apple. (JR)

The 2019 Brut Blanc de Blancs, crafted from oak-fermented Chardonnay, underwent full malolactic fermentation and spent 36 months on lees. A touch of lactic funk appears on the nose before breezy lemon kicks in. The fine, lively mousse disperses the juicy lemony brightness central to this slender wine. Well-handled oak reveals a lovely, creamy edge. Beautiful balance and freshness make this lively and animating. (Lot: L1913117)
