(assembled) Moderately saturated, bright ruby-red. Aromatic nose melds raspberry, leather, pepper and a floral topnote. Spicy and minerally in the mouth, but also supple and fruit-driven. A rather stylish wine that will give pleasure early. "Much less closed than the '99 and '98 at the same stage," notes Michel Ogier.
