The 2019 Pinot Noir Bentrock is bright, focused and savory. There's tremendous energy and focus. Blood orange, spice and chalk are all kicked up in an exotic, wild Pinot that pushes all the right buttons. The Bentrock is the sort of wine you want to spend an entire evening with. I would give the 2019 a few years in bottle, but I expect it will always be nervy, taut and delineated, as it is today.

I was blown away by the 2019 Pinot Noir Bentrock Vineyard, which is up with the crème de la crème of the vintage. Medium-bodied, finesse-driven, and incredibly elegant, it has a great, great bouquet of black raspberries, cherries, wild strawberries, sappy flowers, and violets. Utterly seamless, with fine tannins, no hard edges, and perfectly integrated acidity, give it a year and enjoy over the following decade.
