Score 94/100 · Drink 2024-2029, Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate, Aug 2024

The bottled 2022 Pinot Noir Cuvée Julien, from vines plated in 1952, is very expressive and shows ripeness, despite the contained 12% alcohol. It is tasty, with bright red fruit notes. It kept the structure and finesse, the floral notes and citrus notes that provide freshness and balance for the ripeness. It has depth, complexity and persistence, quite impressive for the tough conditions of the year.
