Pale bright yellow. Citrus fruits, fresh apricot and talc on the nose. Juicy and nicely concentrated, in an easygoing, rather loose-knit style. Offers good flavor intensity but needs to absorb its slightly sour lemony acidity and finishing warmth.

Sweeter and riper on the nose than the Beaune du Château. I can just detect pineapple as well as ripe lemon. More harmony than power. I’d just like a little more weight in the middle to match the ripe fruit aromas to start.(JH)
(aging mostly in once-used barrels) Bright, pale yellow. Highly perfumed aroma of pineapple, lime and stone, with metallic and peppery nuances. Then fresh and intense in the mouth, with suggestions of dried fruits, creme brulee, pepper and banana. The sound balancing acidity here is not typical of 2009, notes Prost, who added that the portion of this vineyard replanted in 1995 is still declassified.
