The 2023 Château Baret is another charming, ripe, medium-bodied Grave offering attractive red and black fruits, some leather, spicy herbs, and earthy nuances, soft tannins, and a good finish. It could end up being an outstanding wine.

The 2023 Baret is a hearty bistro red to drink now and over the next few years. Dark red/purplish fruit, herbs, rose petal, mint and cedar are nicely pushed forward. The 2023 is a bit rough around the edges, but it’s pretty hard to beat the value proposition here.
