Tasting notes
The 2019 Champagne Blanc de Blancs La Haute-Lemble showcases resonating notes of pineapple upside-down cake, sweet pastry, and lemon cake. Medium to full-bodied, it has a sunny feel and is completely dry, with a chalky texture, as well as lovely freshness and structure. Offering powdery flowers, a suggestion of honey, refined preserved lemon, and lemon poppyseed cake, the palate shows mineral persistence and clarity, with no oxidation. It's large, but intense, structured, and precise. Give this one time. Drink 2028-2050. No filtration and zero dosage for all of these wines.

The 2019 Blanc de Blancs La Haute Lemblé offers up notes of peach, pear and apple mingled with notions of toasted nuts and anise. Full-bodied, broad and layered, it's rich, dense and concentrated, with a fleshy core of fruit framed by chalky extract, segueing into a long, mineral finish.
The 2019 Blanc de Blancs La Haute Lemblé is fabulous. Rich, deep and super-expressive, the 2019 impresses with its vertical lift, density and explosive energy. Lemon confit, tangerine oil, spice and mint soar out of the glass, while light tropical accents lend an exotic flair the Haute Lemblé doesn’t often show. Bottled with no dosage. Disgorged: 2023.
