(not yet racked): Slightly reduced aromas of raspberry, cherry and smoky minerality, lifted by a spicy topnote. Sweet raspberry and milk chocolate flavors are given a sappy quality by slightly edgy acidity. Not as deep as the Charmes-Chambertin that Jeremy Seysses presented before this wine but should gain in pliancy with a racking. Incidentally, this wine will not be offered in 2016 owing to the damaging spring frost.
