Tasting notes
Much livelier than the Gevrey 2013 from this domaine, with some delicacy. Pretty and fresh. A composed, rewarding red burgundy with undertow. (JR)

Perrot-Minot's 2013 Morey-Saint-Denis La Rue de Vergy is bright, focused and nicely delineated in the glass. Freshly cut flowers, red cherries, stone fruits, mint and slate all pulse with energy and salinity in this high-toned, aromatically expressive Burgundy. Readers will find all of the signatures of the vintage here.
Deep, bright red. Enticing aromas of redcurrant, raspberry and cherry accented by subtle spices and rose petal. Supple and fine-grained, showing good finesse to its fruit and spice flavors. Has the tannic spine to provide for a decade or more of useful life.
