Tasting notes
The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Elle Lewelling Ranch is a classic wine from this vineyard, which always seems to yield a ripe, opulent, sexy style of Cabernet Sauvignon. Jammy red and blue fruits, spice box, flowery incense, and hints of licorice all emerge from this full-bodied, uber-rich, concentrated, velvety wine. Drink bottles over the coming 15-20 years.

Myriad's 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Elle - Lewelling Ranch has turned out even better than I projected last year when it was reviewed from barrel. There's a pleasant hint of smoky oak on the nose, backed by scents of black cherries and loamy earth, while the full-bodied palate is soft and silky, with a hint of licorice on the long, elegant finish. It's super stuff—and attractively priced too.
This site has always produced ripe, sexy wines, and the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Lewelling Vineyard is no exception, with loads of blueberry and darker fruits as well as chocolate, incense, and violet nuances. It's full-bodied and has ripe, supple tannins, no hard edges, and a great finish. It's up with the top wines in the lineup.
