Tasting notes
More blue fruits, tobacco, sappy tobacco, and ripe black cherry notes all emerge from the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Round Pond Vineyard, a 100% varietal aged 22 months in French oak. This medium to full-bodied, balanced, beautifully pure 2021 has ripe, polished tannins and a great finish. It's a great example of the style and quality of this terrific vintage.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Round Pond Vineyard offers up scents of ripe cherries and mint, with just a hint of dusty earth. It's relatively easy to drink and approachable already, being full-bodied in the mouth, but also silky-textured and fresh on the finish.
Leading off the Cabernets, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Round Pond Vineyard is tight and reductive yet certainly has loads of potential in its darker fruits, medium to full-bodied richness, fine tannins, and classic notes of espresso, leafy herbs, and even a hint of chalky minerality. It's impressive.
