The 2021 Mâcon Uchizy is a blend of vineyards within the climat (i.e. not Les Maranches) as the northern sector lost 90% of volume due to frost. It has a lilting orchard fruit, apricot-tinged bouquet with a spring in its step. The palate is well balanced with good depth, substance, fine acidity and a spicy, persistent finish. Excellent.

Mid lemon. Lovely, bight, fresh, clean nose of lemon and apple. White flowers give a little extra lift with solid peachy fruit on the palate. Very dry finish. (MH)
